PES 2016 Free to Play version

Konami launching Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 fee-to-play edition on PC. Pitched as an entry-level version of Konami’s beloved footie game, it comes with the Exhibition mode, Training tools, and what is probably the most popular feature in the full game - myClub mode.

Access to myClub is totally unfettered. In this you can earn cash from playing in leagues and matches, spending this on buying new players, managing your team and trying to get the best out of your squad. It’s pretty similar to FIFA’s Ultimate Team mode, so you can expect some serious mileage out of it. Obviously if you want a better team you are going to be able to spend some cash - PES 2016 F2P edition will be funded by microtransactions.

You’ll have access to a total of seven teams, including the likes of Bayern Munich, Juventus, AS Roma, Brazil and France. With Konami all but out of the games industry these days, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see F2P with microtransactions become the standard for its long-running PES series. We’ve heard rumours of a F2P edition for a while, and that lowered barrier to entry could help it build up a significantly larger audience than FIFA on PC.

Rumours that a free launch would be forthcoming began when a listing for "Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 Free To Play" appeared on the website for the Australian Classifications board.

Following the release of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Pro Evolution Soccer -- Winning Eleven in Japan -- is arguably Konami's last major console title. The company has reportedly quit the console business to embrace mobile gaming. The introduction of a free-to-play Pro Evo could be another step in that direction.

Further evidence of Konami taking a step back from "traditional" video games include the now-infamous disagreement with lauded developer Hideo Kojima (which has included stripping his name from MGSV's packaging, cancelling his planned horror game Silent Hills, and closing the Los Angeles arm of Kojima Productions), prioritising its Japanese businesses in health clubs and arcade parlours, and funnelling its classic IP into pachinko games.

Here is the List of Countries can download PES 2016 for free-“UK,France,Spain,Germany and Italy”.
